This academic year Technocamps are offering an opportunity for teachers to upskill themselves via a virtual course teaching computational thinking and programming concepts. The course is ideal for any secondary teachers who would like to know how to incorporate programming and computational thinking within other AoLEs, as well as within computing classes themselves.
The course is split into 3 units which teachers can opt to take, with a certificate available to those who complete each unit and the associated assignment. Alternatively, teachers can opt to join individual units or sessions should they wish to only explore a particular topic covered throughout the course.
The course will be run online through Zoom on Tuesdays between 4pm and 5:30pm, the link to join will be sent out to those that have registered via this form. We are aware this time slot may not work for everyone but it is difficult to find a time that suits all parties.
Note: You will not require a micro:bit to do the micro:bit activities, but it would be useful.

Y flwyddyn academaidd hon mae Technocamps yn cynnig cyfle i athrawon uwchsgilio eu hunain trwy gwrs rhithwir sy'n addysgu meddwl cyfrifiadurol a chysyniadau rhaglennu. Mae’r cwrs yn ddelfrydol ar gyfer unrhyw athrawon uwchradd a hoffai wybod sut i ymgorffori rhaglennu a meddwl cyfrifiadurol o fewn MDPh eraill, yn ogystal ag o fewn dosbarthiadau cyfrifiadura eu hunain.
Mae'r cwrs wedi'i rannu'n 3 uned y gall athrawon ddewis eu cymryd, gyda thystysgrif ar gael i'r rhai sy'n cwblhau pob uned a'r aseiniad cysylltiedig. Fel arall, gall athrawon ddewis ymuno ag unedau neu sesiynau unigol os ydynt yn dymuno archwilio testun penodol yn unig a drafodwyd trwy gydol y cwrs.
Bydd y cwrs yn cael ei redeg ar-lein trwy Zoom ar ddyddiau Mawrth rhwng 4pm a 5:30pm, bydd y ddolen i ymuno yn cael ei anfon at y rhai sydd wedi cofrestru trwy'r ffurflen hon. Rydym yn ymwybodol efallai na fydd y slot amser hwn yn gweithio i bawb ond mae'n anodd dod o hyd i amser sy'n addas i bob person.
Sylwer: Ni fydd angen micro:bit arnoch i wneud y gweithgareddau micro:bit, ond byddai’n ddefnyddiol.
